Born in Brooklyn, raised in the Bronx, S. McKane then moved to the “burbs” before settling down in the Catskills. McKane is a published writer, but she’s also an entrepreneur, running her store “Consignium” a consignment store. She loves to deal in antiques.
Expanding her horizons, McKane co-hosted “Keep’n Country Strong” with Carl Richards. Western hats were required. After two years of co-hosting, she was encouraged to develop her own television show. “Ebony and Ivory” was born, and McKane hosted that show for two years.
S. McKane is currently working on a number of projects, including a novella for the Writers of the West group. You can get a taste of her style in our “Shorties” section on this website.
With her “true passion” being writing, McKane published her first novel “Gumshoe Goddess and the Catskill Caper” October, 2013, available at Amazon.
